After watching the beautiful Gujarati movie Reva , I knew I had to pick up this book. It was my very first Gujarati novel, and let me tell you, it touched my heart in ways I didn't expect. What is it About? The story follows a young student who travels all the way from a foreign country to a small village in India, right on the banks of the Narmada River. His original plan is simply to study the local tribal people and figure out ways to use their human resources productively. But life has other plans for him.
